1.0 Context of Pipeline Technics


The context of Pipeline Technics has been compiled by the review of its business environmental considering such factors as internal and external issues and interested parties and their requirements. To ensure the environmental context is understood Pipeline


Technics have engaged various methods such as risk assessments, SWOT analysis and strategic planning.

2.0 Policy Statement

Pipeline Technics values the environment and is committed to maintaining environmental practices in its day-to-day activities. When undertaking activities, any negative environmental impacts will be minimised at all times and where possible Pipeline Technics will use practices, which enhance and preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the area.


3.0 Strategy & Objectives


Pipeline Technics will as part of its operations:

  • Continuously update its work practices to ensure we fulfill compliance obligations with all applicable requirements.
  • Continually improve environmental performance by periodically reviewing environmental objectives, targets and performance measures. Protect the environment, including the prevention of pollution. 
  • Minimise the generation of waste through the adoption of sound waste management practices wherever practicable.
  • Take opportunities to review and integrate environmental ‘best practice’ into our business.


4.0 Responsibility & Authority


The Director is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of this policy. In fulfilling the objectives of this policy, management is committed to regular consultation with employees to ensure the policy operates effectively, and that health and safety issues are regularly reviewed.


Management responsibilities include:


  • Implementing of all policies and procedures,
  • Establishing measurable objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement aimed at the elimination of work related injury or illness, and 
  • Provision of adequate resources to meet these commitments.


Employee’s responsibilities include:


  • Following all policies and procedures.
  • Recognising hazards which may affect the environment, themselves or others.
