DN560 HDPE Water Main Project
November, 2021
This project required a high pressure water pipeline installation, crossing two major infrastructure projects. The works involved multiple stake holders, designers, and clients working collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcome.
Due to the complex demands and timelines of this project, Pipeline Technics was the preferred contractor.
Over a kilometre of pipeline was required to be installed by our experienced team to allow the removal of an existing water distribution main. This work would facilitate the construction of the Mitchell Freeway and Yanchep Rail extensions in Perth Western Australia.
To ensure programme constraints were met, it was necessary to mobilise multiple teams consisting of our experienced operators who worked to tight deadlines in demanding conditions to ensure shut down dates on the project were not impacted.
The overall project design was updated constantly, with last-minute alterations managed by Pipeline Technics with our professional and efficient manner, without impacting any progress.
Our experienced crew completed all aspects of the scope of works on time and without incident.
Another case of “can-do” getting the job done safely in these challenging times.
DEEP SEWER CONNECTION
September, 2020
Pipeline Technics were awarded the contract to install a boundary trap on an existing 225 vitrified clay sewer line in Cannington, Perth Western Australia. The purpose of this project was to relieve odour and pipe blockage issues.
The extent of the works required a full road closure. Coupled with the fact that the works were located in a residential area, it was essential that this project was completed within a very narrow timeframe, with little disruption to residents.
The complexity of this project was exacerbated by the depth of the sewer and the presence of a high water table in the area.
With our vast experience of working in confined spaces and dealing with ground water, the client had no hesitation in awarding Pipeline Technics the project.
This project was completed safely, with little disruption to residents and within the requested one week time frame.
Our long history with this client meant that they had confidence in our ability to complete the works on time, and in challenging conditions.
